Guidelines for Preparing Talks and Posters for Conferences
Below are links to help you with preparing a poster or talk for conference situations.
The most important point to remember is the audience who will be listening to your presentation or viewing your poster. The style and content will differ markedly from one audience to another so always keep this in mind.
For the postgraduate conferences run by the NW Hub (PRISM, PRASH etc) the audience will be a range of postgraduate researchers from a wide variety of disciplines. Try to keep your presentation interesting and accessible to people that won't be familiar with your research area.
