Postgraduate Researchers in Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities
Call for papers
This year's PRASH event is hosted by the Interdisciplinary Forum at the University of Liverpool. The forum was founded by research students for research students working across the boundaries of traditional disciplines. The event will have a strong focus on interdisciplinary research.
- We invite abstracts for work to be presented either as a poster or as a 15 minute talk.
- The presentations can focus either on ongoing research or on an aspect of the postgraduate experience, especially on aspects of working across disciplines
- We particularly welcome presentations on work at the interface between traditional disciplines.
- The event is open to participants from any discipline, and every research topic will be considered.
We recognise that, although specialisation is necessary, the ability to share our knowledge intelligibly with others is just as important.
When preparing your presentation or poster, please keep in mind that you are talking to a mixed audience from all sorts of academic disciplines. Therefore we ask you to refrain from using jargon, or if it is essential, to explain all specialist terminology.
Please indicate on the online submission form whether you will require a parking permit, as parking spaces on the university precinct are limited.
Abstract submission
- The conference is now open for registration. Please fill in the personal and abstract details on www.postgradtalentnw.co.uk/prash2007
- Abstracts should be submitted online, without pictures or figures and should be no more than 150 words.
- Say whether you wish to give an oral presentation or a poster.
You will be notified of acceptance by email, shortly after the closing date.
ABSTRACTS TO ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 17:00, FRIDAY 23 FEBRUARY 2007
