Leading the Way - Research Skills Training in the North West

In order to reduce paper wastage and the impact on the environment, no handouts for the talks given at this year's conference will be provided. Instead, speakers have been asked to provide an electronic copy of their presentation. As many of these as possible will be provided prior to the event and all will be available after Tuesday the 29th of May. For more information and copies of the presentations please click here.
- This years programme focuses on the important role of the supervisor in the development of postgraduate students
- It addresses institutional, regional, national and European strategic agenda, and offers the opportunity to develop winning collaborations
- Content also includes updates on the institutional implications of the Bologna agenda, the proposed methods of assessing the impact of skills training and NW strategy in postgraduate training Widely attended by policy makers, training practitioners, senior postdoctoral fellows, administrators, junior and senior academic staff.
The draft programme includes updates on the impact of potential contract changes on UKGRAD, institutional implications of the Bologna agenda, the proposed methods of assessing the impact of skills training and NW strategy in postgraduate training.
