The aims of Postgrad Talent NW are:

• To promote, encourage and share good practice in postgraduate skills training across the North West
• To raise the profile of postgraduate skills training within institutions and with relevant regional bodies
• To develop resources to support postgraduate skills training
• To build networks of practitioners working in the area of postgraduate skills training
• To support the activities of the UK GRAD Programme’s Centre for Excellence and to encourage uptake of GRAD programme courses.
• To promote regional, national and international opportunities for PhD students
• To foster innovation and entrepreneurship in the NW
• To encourage the retention of postgraduate talent in the NW

This site is aimed at PhD students, academics, supervisers, employers and all those interested in developing and retaining PhD talent in our region.
